Fourth graders have continued to work on their coding projects. Students are going to tynker.com to complete coding lessons at their own individual paces. They have unique logins and passwords so that they can continue where they left off each week. Some students have asked if they can work on it outside of our class time together, and the answer is definitely YES! I am so glad that they are enjoying it enough to want to do it on their own!
Fourth graders were introduced to computer science this week by visiting code.org, a site which teaches students to begin writing computer code. The site uses a very kid-friendly platform, and students may progress through the various lessons and games at their own pace. They seemed to really enjoy coding, and they are encouraged to visit the site on their own.
